We are excited to announce our 3rd Annual Prism Family Camp!

May 16, 2024 High School Formal

May 17-19, 2024 Family Camp

New Life Ranch’s Frontier Cove in Adair, Oklahoma

Details & Registration Below!

  • Families and individuals can choose to attend for the full weekend, or for the day only on Saturday.

Thursday, May 16: High school students flying in early for the formal should plan to arrive by noon on Thursday. They will stay at Frontier Cove on Thursday night—one day earlier than other campers arrive.

Friday, May 17: Registration opens at 3:00 PM for all campers. We recommend flying into XNA or TUL between 1:00-3:00 PM in order to attend all events. Shuttles will be available to and from camp. Tournaments will begin between 3:00-5:00 PM and the official Family Camp Kick-Off will start at 5:00 PM!

Saturday, May 18: Breakfast is served at 8:00 AM (this is included for day-pass holders, as well). Blue & Gray Games and other activities will take place throughout the day on Saturday and Prism’s 2024 Graduation will be held Saturday night at 7:00 PM. A reception will follow.

Sunday, May 19: Breakfast will be served on Sunday. All activities will end by 10:00 AM.

  • Kinder-2nd Grade Cabins: We recommend K-2 students stay in group housing with the parent of the same gender (fathers with sons, mothers with daughters). All K-2 students staying overnight must be accompanied by a parent. Exceptions may be made for K-2 students (upon request) who are traveling with other approved guardians (i.e. a group of students traveling with a relative or campus coordinator).

3rd-12th Grade Cabins: 3rd-12th grade students will be housed in bunk-style cabins with camp counselors. All group housing will be separated by gender and age.

Adult Cabins: There will be bunk-style cabins for adults as well. This housing will be split by gender. There are no cabins available for couples at this event; if you would prefer to stay in a nearby hotel, you can register for a day-pass for meals on Saturday, and still be a part of all activities at the camp. The nearest hotels are approximately 20-30 minutes from the camp. Let us know if you are interested in this option. Individuals traveling in for graduation only (and for no other daytime activities or meals) can register for Graduation Only.

Private Family Hotel Rooms: We have a limited amount of hotel rooms available for families with young children. All family hotel rooms either have 2 queen beds, or 1 queen & 1 set of bunk beds. We anticipate that these rooms will be fully reserved on the first day of registration. These rooms will be prioritized for families with preschool children. These rooms are an additional $60/per room beyond the individual family camp rate.

Multi-family Cabins: We will have a limited amount of bunk-style cabins available for families to share. For this option, 2-4 families will share one large cabin, with multiple sets of bunk beds. If you would like this option, select this on your registration form, and list the other families you would like to stay with. There are no additional fee for these cabins.

  • Full-Weekend Stay (Fri-Sun): Food, lodging, shuttles, a camp t-shirt, and all activities that take place during the camp are covered in full-weekend camp fees. The full-weekend rates include dinner on Friday, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. The following fees will be assessed per attendee:

    • Children 0 - 2 years = Free

    • Children 3 - 6 years = $82

    • Children 7 - 12 years = $111

    • All individuals ages 13 and older = $139

4-Day Registration for High Schoolers Attending High School Formal: This year high schoolers will arrive a full day early to Frontier Cove, stay the night on Thursday after the High School Formal and have all fees for meals on Thursday, formal activities, and everything included in the Full Weekend of Family Camp bundled into one fee. The cost for this is $210.00.

Day-Pass: Individuals who will attend only on Saturday can pay a day rate. The day rate includes 3 meals on Saturday and participation in activities. The following fees will be assessed per attendee:

    • Children 0 - 2 years = Free

    • All individuals ages 3-12 and older = $40

    • All individuals 13 and older-$50

Please note: If you are staying for the full weekend off-site at a nearby hotel, you will select a day pass for Saturday attendance only. However, you may choose to join us for meals on Friday night and Sunday morning, for an additional $6.00 per meal per person.

    Refunds / Cancellations:

    • Cancellations will be refunded at 90% of what has already been paid, so long as notice is provided on or before April 28.

    • Any cancellations after April 28 will not be refunded.

    Other:

    • An additional fee of $60 will be added for anyone who stays in a private hotel room.

    • There is no cost to attend graduation only.

    • All fees will be invoiced to you electronically.

    • Additional meals cost $6.00 per meal per person.

    • All fees must be paid by May 1. Fees can be paid at once, or in three monthly payments on March 1, April 1, and May 1.

    • If your family would like to request financial assistance to pay for camp, please reach out to phoebe.shreve@prismnorthamerica.org . We cannot promise to accommodate every request, but will assist families as resources allow.

  • Travel to and from the camp must be arranged independently. Travel expenses are not included in the cost of attendance.

Shuttle Services: Though registration does not cover travel expenses from home to airport, we will provide a shuttle from the airport to Family Camp on Thursday (for High School students only), and Friday and Sunday for Prism students and families. We will not provide shuttle services for guests.

Driving: Individuals who wish to drive should calculate the distance from Adair, Oklahoma.

Flying: Individuals who are flying should plan to fly into the Tulsa International Airport. Some accommodations can also be made from XNA, but flights into XNA are typically more expensive. Prism will provide a shuttle between the airport and Frontier Cove on Thursday for High School families only, Friday for all other families, and Sunday for families and students. Individuals who need a shuttle on Saturday should make independent arrangements. High school students flying in early for the formal should plan to arrive between noon and 2 PM on Thursday; they will be transported to camp.

  • There will be opportunities to engage in structured and unstructured activities throughout the weekend. Registration may be required for some of the structured activities. Activities that will run throughout the weekend and will be available during all unstructured times include the following:

Late Registration: We will accommodate all other registrants as space allows from March 27 - May 1.

Payment: All fees must be paid by May 1. Fees can be paid all at once or on a payment plan with 3 payments due March 1, April 1, and May 1.

  • We are often asked whether guests are allowed to attend Family Camp or Graduation. Housing on-campus is reserved for currently enrolled Prism students, their immediate families, and camp counselors. Guests of Prism students are welcome to participate in Family Camp in any one of the following ways:

-Register as a Guest with a Saturday Day Pass. Day pass registrants will not receive a t-shirt (unless they pay extra for it), but will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will be allowed to participate in general activities.

-Attend graduation in-person. There is no cost to attend graduation only. Individuals attending graduation only should arrive at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM start. No meals will be served for those who attend graduation only but they are welcome to snacks and festivities at the reception following.

-Watch graduation via Zoom. The link will be sent to all graduates in advance so they can invite friends and family who want to watch from a distance.
